A Study To The Creation Ideas And Technique Character Of Unsuk Chin’s Works

This paper is a study of Unsuk Chin’s music works who is a contemporary Korea composer actively on the European music stage. The paper will fall into two main parts. After the foreword, the first part will summarize her main creative concept by means of describing her growing-up life and learning environment and contrastive analyzing her composition with the composers whose works would affect her deeply. The second one will analytically investigate the composing skill in her compositions such as Violin Concerto (2002), Doppelkonzert (2002), Rocana (2008) and so on, further summarize her creative concept and technique. By the several examples above, as well as her living environment and the influence of some composers we can find the technical feature of her music creation and its intro-relationship clearly.
