In his life, he created a great number of works with the characteristic of Henan local music. In Wang Chengquan’s works, we can find more examples about that mix local music elements and modern composing techniques together, This is Mr. Wang the pursuit of life——take works with rich flavour of Henan music to all over the country and onto the world stage.Based on the Wang Chengquan with Henan local flavor of chorus works as the research object, through the analysis of these works of creation background and music forms, using the perspective of ethnomusicology and music aesthetics discipline, analysis and summary the features and artistic characteristics of his chorus works creation of multi-level and multi-angle, aim to extract and research regularity Wang Chengquan’s chorus works is how to fuse the local music element in the process of creation and the fusion of modern composing techniques.This paper is divided into four parts:The first part is the life of Wang Chengquan overview; the second part is that to carry out specific analysis on the typical chorus works; The third part is basis on the second part to summarized and extracted the creation characteristics and the artistic features on his chorus of music works; The fourth part is the summary of the thought of Wang Chengquan’s creation and generalization of the chorus works of significance.Order to isolate the chorus has the mass base of the art form has more national characteristics, chorus creation on the way of "nationalization" can grow more, need the community.
