After7decades revalidation, the economy of the Emperor Wu period had recoveredand developed. However, they political conflict of the society was still penetrating. Inorder to consolidate his absolutistally centralized governance, Emperor Wu adoptedthe confucian patterns revised by Dong Zhongshu as his guided thought, which madethe confucian patterns become the traditional thought during the next2000years.Only in this way can the Han Dynasty consolidate and enlarge its governance. Thisessay analyses and explores Dong Zhongshu’s ideology from the socializedperspective.The first chapter of this thesis explains why I want to write this thesis, the maincontent will be discussed and the positive result already achieved. The second chapterexpounds the background of Dong Zhongshu’s socialization thought, of course it wasdeeply effected by the features belonging to the Han Dynasty. The third chapterexpounds the three grades of human nature, which is the basic idea ofsocialization.This is the premise of taking different measures to sermonize thepopulace. The fourth and the fifth chapters are the most important chapters of thisthesis, because I think that the most important of Dong Zhongshu’s socializationthough is the result. In order to making this result come true, the ruling class needs alot of systemic standards. With the development of Han Dynasty, Dong Zhongshuproposed those standards that are adapted to the interests of the ruling class. However,different people have their own different standards. What they need to do is that carryout them discreetly. The once but the last chapter discusses the significance of DongZhongshu’s socialization thought. He expected to build a harmonious society thatmonarch wisely and the courtiers excellent, political correctness and the society notonly warmth and stable, but also ranks in grade orderly. And his dreams came true.Han Dynasty becomes a unified nation in Chinese history. Dong Zhongshu’s these socialization thought in today still has a lot of positive significance, we should contactthe realities of contemporary society, ancient reference today.
