"Faster, higher and stronger" has been the theme in competitive sports, so after thefatigue and recovery problems become one of the core problems in sports training study.Tension for people such as using the method of concept to deconstruct the concept of fatigue,it can be divided into physical fatigue, mental fatigue and psychological fatigue, etc., and putsforward three typical measurement paradigm: exhaustion physical reaction test, sexualexhaustion cognitive tasks reaction test, and since the Chen reports. In the past study, theathletes’ physical fatigue and psychological fatigue has gained attention, and a few scholarsstudy the evaluation of athletes’ mental fatigue. This research includes two aspects:(1) the labinduced on mental fatigue experiments have been carried out to explore model andmeasurement, in order to establish the evaluation system of athletes’ mental fatigue in the lateprovide empirical research basis;(2) try to discuss whether the emergence and development ofmusic on mental fatigue with ease, and use the ERP study the mechanism of mental fatigue, music to verify the effectiveness of the music to relax way of athletes’ mental fatigue.Study of an experimental in26normal college students as the subjects, explore mentalfatigue induced laboratory model and the validity of the measurement.At60min continuousconnection test (TMT) as fatigue induced material, to verify the validity of the method ofmental fatigue lab induced, and try to find out the subjective on mental fatigue sensitivemeasurements. The research results show that this experiment60min attachment testperformance did not decline with the passage of time.In fatigue measurement, subjective scalescores also showed that the participants did not realize the obvious fatigue. In study2and study3, we applied ERP to investigate a long standing question whethermusic can really affect mental fatigue occurring in the study. Our whole experiment procedurewas divided into fatigue induce phase and ERP record phase. The experiment began with abaseline measurement of fatigue using the Go/NoGo task, then continued with1h AX-CPTtask as the fatigue inducing task. At last, finished the Go/NoGo task again.30participantstook part in the study. All the participants were randomly assigned to music group listening tomusic during induce phases, or be part of control group that heard nothing. At the same time, they were required to keep on doing the tasks continuously. All the two groups did theirGo/NoGo task without sound and had their ERP data recorded in record phases. In the presentstudy, the Go/NoGo task was performed to investigate the effects of music presentation oncognitive functions during mental fatigue before and after the fatigue-inducing task.Following60-min of fatigue-inducing task, both groups exhibited signs of mental fatigue(distracted, anxious, irritable, sleepy and unconfident). In accordance with previous findings, the task manipulation we used was successful in inducing the feeling of mental fatigue.Importantly, compared with music group, control group suffered more severe mental fatiguesubjectively. The Go-P3amplitude significant decreased with time on task for the controlgroup, suggesting that subjects increasingly had difficulty allocating resources for detection of stimulus as task unfolded. We found that the decrease on NoGo-P3amplitudes afterfatigue-inducing task were smaller in the music condition than in their absence. Thesefindings suggest that music plays an important role in mitigating the deterioration of cognitionperformance and inhibition due to mental fatigue. In the end, our results suggest that thepresence of music improves attentional/effortful control of response selection, and that thiseffect mitigates the deterioration of cognitive-motor performance and inhibition during mentalfatigue. This research on mental fatigue induced model and measurement laboratory experiments, and explore the background music in the influence of mental fatigue and development process, from the perspective of behavioral science and cognitive science has confirmed the positiverole of music in alleviate mental fatigue, for athletes’ mental fatigue research provides someempirical basis. The research conclusions are as follows:(1)60min TMT as fatigue inducedmaterial, may be due to the particularity of the task, as the lack of effectiveness of fatigueinduced by task.(2)60min persistent cognitive tasks AX-CPT can successfully induce themental fatigue.Mental fatigue have less effect on the cognitive control, and led to a significantdecline in cognitive control sequence behavior and performance.Music slows the mentalfatigue led to a decline in the behavior of the performance, it not only affects the cognitivecontrol process, also affects the cognitive control.(3) mental fatigue will reduce theeffectiveness of cognitive resource allocation, and cognitive task under the background musicof the effectiveness of cognitive resources is not affected by a lot, music groups ofparticipants experienced fewer mental fatigue.(4) music in slow decline of inhibition due tomental fatigue play a key role, music can improve the subjective control of reaction to choose,to prevent the damage of inhibition.
