A Study On Rongjiang Baixing Dialects In Yangmei,Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region

Although the research of Rongjiang Pinghua dialects have made some achievements,it still not enough to be compared to other branches of the Pinghua dialects system studies.This thesis is based on Baixing dialects in Yangmei Village,Liucheng county,attempts to present a panoramic view on this language by describing its phonetics, vocabulary and grammar,and be linguistic resources padding to fill a blank of the study of Rongjiang Pinghua dialects.As the administrative village of Yangmei country,Yangmei has its own characterist: people there uniquely speak Baixing dialects,while the surrounding villagers mainly speak Zhuang language. Yangmei is,as it were, a similar dialect island can be called "Baixinghua village". Another speciality of Yangmei is its "bilingualism".Due to long-term surrounded by Zhuang language, people in Yangmei have mastered this language. They can fluently communicate with Zhuang nations in Zhuang language while use Baixing dialects with their own people,which have made Yangmei a "bilingualism village". In addition, the enormous influence of Liucheng mandarin further complicated the situation of language contact in Yangmei, then make it into a "multi-lingual society",which provides a perfect sample for the Zhuang-Chinese language contact study.This article is divided into six chapters. The previous four chapters introduce the related background, and then describe the language system of Baixing dialects in Yangmei by transverse-longitudinal comparative analysis and other methods. This part mainly about description on phonological system, aims to sorts out its historical level with historical linguistics,then explore the evolution laws of Baixing dialects. Assisted by map drawing on ArcGIS (Geograhpic Information System) platform software and tabulation,chapter Five will use dialect geography and language contact theory, attempts to intuitively show the situation about language contact of Baixing dialects,Zhuang language and mandarin.Meanwhile,the comparison of Baixing dialects and other branches of Pinghua dialects system will be presented in the form of linguistic atlas or data tables throughout the chapters on link.Chapter6summarizes this full text, and put forward the problems that need to be solved. All work above is in order to pursue the history of the change in Pinghua dialects, and acquire a better understanding of Pinghua dialects study and the complexity of the language features in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
