As the first published philosophical writings of Marx, his doctoral thesis,"The Differenc e Between the Democritean and Epicurean Philosophy of Nature." was considered to be the st art of Marx philosophy, which was also considered to be the only strictly philosophical resear ch of Marx. Marx was not inherently. In his early age, there are many traces of Hegel’s thoug ht in his early thesis. Marx was known to be a member of young Hegelians, as many of his ea rly ideas are an obvious Hegel’s philosophy. It is also under the influence of Hegelians; Marx had a deep analysis on self-consciousness philosophy in late ancient Greece. This is reflected in his doctoral thesis is particularly obvious:Marx’s philosophy of self-consciousness gives f ull attention of the people of freedom, that is,giving human self-consciousness the highest div inity. Study on this important theoretical writings of the young Marx, could lead to better dial ectical understanding of Marx’s philosophy.Being human beings, essential characteristics lie between animals are transcendence. Hu man beings, with self consciousness, could beyond any exist barrier at any time. The way to a chieve is so called practice. In Marx philosophy, it is unable to ignore the importance of pract ice, which is the way to brake the chain in mind. Although all philosophers have views on the issue of freedom due to its importance of human metal existence, most of former philosopher s could not describe the precise connotation of this word. Because they do not pay enough att ention to human practice. Get rid of single nature characteristic, freedom has its society chara cteristic because of human practice. Although we do not find redundant dissertation about pra ctice, as a important support we could not dissert human freedom without the development of practice. This thesis mainly on three topics:First part mainly expounds the problems of Greek philosophy and Democritus Philosoph y. Marx distinguishes Epicurean philosophy from Democritus Philosophy. He highly eulogize s Epicurean Philosophy which considered the key to solve the problems of Greek philosophy, while he criticizes on Democritus’Fatalism. Nature should get rid of nature to be worth its o wn worth. The second part compares Epicurean philosophy with Democritus Philosophy in nature philosophy of Atomism in different aspects. Also, we elaborate freedom and self consciousne ss. At last we state Marx’s new state of freedom. If self consciousness loses freedom when fa ced reality, self consciousness will have no critical spirit. In Marx’s opinion, self consciousne ss must establish on the fundamental of reality. The third part mainly on the topic of extension of the freedom. Marx againsts bound of r eligion in his whole life. He thinks that we should arm our brain with new worldview, leading to the real freedom of all human beings. Marx point latter that only establish a free human be ings union, could achieve real freedom.
