Study On Arts And Crafts Of Ewenki Under "Reindeer Culture"

Ewenki nationality is the ancient nationality with a long history and a magnificent culture in the north.Ewenki distributes mainly in Inner Mongolia Hulun Buir City, at the same time in Heilongjiang Province and Xinjiang Uyger Autonomous Region also has scattered some Ewenki.Due to historical migration, dispersive habitancy and population differentiation, Ewenki developed three branches of the relative regional economic and cultural difference:one of the branches called "solon", part of them simultaneously engaged in animal husbandry and agriculture, and the others completely engaged in animal husbandry; the other branch calls "Turgus", they mainly engaged in animal husbandry; the third branch calls "Yakut", they had made a living by travelling hunt and raising reindeer.Yakut also calls Reindeer Ewenki, the below mentioned Ewenki in this thesis specify this branche. Reindeer Ewenki long-term lives in Da Hinggan Mountains region. And they created exceeding rich and unique arts and crafts that is a part of the most typical forest hunting culture in the north.Traditional Ewenki arts and crafts retains the relatively complete primitive hunting features.These are the records and reflicts about their the way of production, folk life, religious belief, aesthetic consciousness and culture integration.The organic connection between the Reindeer culture and Ewenki arts and crafts also is a new perspective to study Ewenki arts and crafts. It is a study that gradually change from the intuitive sense to rationality, and then grasp the Ewenki unique artistic value and aesthetic features.This thesis mainly study on six aspects:the introduction part summarizes the research purpose, significance and research stuation and content.The second part is a comprehensive and systematic discussion about tracing the history of reindeer culture, and the investigate the reasons.The third part is the classification research of Ewenki arts and crafts on technics, materials and decorative characteristics that bases on the reindeer culture. The forth part is the analysis of the relationship between the reindeer culture with the Ewenki arts and crafts.The fifth part elaborates the present situation that protects and inherits the Ewenki arts and crafts, and the case that are applied to the environmental art design.The sixth part is the summary of the traditional Reindeer Ewenki arts and crafts.
