This paper will explore Kant reflection on Modernity,The development ofmodernity while offers many positive effects to the development of the society, butalso implies a lot of problems,Modernity in general can be understood as a newstandard and mode to replace the old standard medieval already collapsed and mode,isa new "spirit".The characteristics of this new mode of thinking is mainly reflected inthe following aspects,Focus on the people value and rational spirit,Re affirmed thepeople’s secular life,With the development of modernity, modernity has also createdproblems,As early as in Kant had problems appeared on modernity madereflection,This reflection is a negative reflection,Rousseau and Hume is one of theRepresentative,To make an overall reflection on modernity is Kant.Kant through tothe comprehensive rational reflection, in the modernity of "new ideas" mode of thepositive, also anticipated the modernity of the possible negative effects of theproposed ideas,The "alienation" and the loss of moral value,So to distinguish betweenreason, range of reason set applicable,This paper will mainly from Kant’sepistemology and moral theory to illustrate how Kant through his "criticalphilosophy" to curb the spread of the problem of Modernity.
