The different cognitive level of processing will cause varying degrees of egodepletion. Compared with the lower level of cognitive process, cognitive processesinvolved in the conversion of thinking will cause a greater degree of ego depletion, and will affect the decision-making capacity of individuals; but this effect may beprevented or relieve by improving the individual’s self awareness level. In study1, weinvestigated how the different levels of cognitive processing influence self controlability and self analysis and decision making ability through observed the expressionof insistence tasks and decision-making tasks after ego depletion. In study2, byarousing the individual’s self awareness level, we investigated how the self awarenessinfluences ego depletion and analysis-decision ability. The results were follows:(1) Compared with group of thinking and group of sense, Individuals whosethinking of transformation answer the uncertainty and error rate is higher. They havesignificant differences.(2) Individuals who are thinking of transformation have deeper depletion, andmake them have fewer patients than the other groups. They have significantdifferences.(3) Compared with the group of has not been aroused, the group of arousing selfawareness has less uncertain number. Specifically, self awareness plays a great rolefor the individuals whose depletion deeper, and has little influence for the individualswhose have less depletion. Conclusion: A cognitive process of thinking involved in the conversion willresult in a greater degree of ego depletion and the greater influence of individuals’decision-making ability. On the other hand, individuals’ depletion can be relieved byarousing self awareness, and the decision-making ability can be recovered as well.
