Human psychology and behavior are regulated by advanced control systems. The human brain's control processing system is extremely complicated. There is always controversy about the general problem of the human brain's control system. One view is that the human brain's control system is domain-general,and another view is that the human brain The control system is domain-specific,and the two views are fiercely debated and remain unmatched. It can be seen that the question of whether the control system of the human brain is general or domain specific still needs to be further explored. In recent years,self-control in the decision-making process has attracted the attention of researchers.Self-control plays a crucial role in different decision-making tasks. In the decision-making process,self-control ability enables decision-makers to pursue optimal and maximum benefits, select the best economic options, and avoid immediate and irrational impulses. This self-control ability of individuals is an effective way to ensure advanced cognitive processing processes such as decision-making and judgment.According to previous studies,self-control and traditional cognitive control are similar and different in terms of concepts, neurophysiological basis, and cognitive processing mechanisms. Therefore, examining the relationship between the two is of great significance for answering the question that the human brain control system is general or domain-specific.This study uses laboratory experiments to combine different cognitive control tasks with different decision-making tasks to explore whether cognitive control and decision-making self-control are independent of each other, and then examine the field of self-control in traditional cognitive control and decision-making.Sexual problems.Study 1 combines Simon's task with intertemporal decision-making tasks to explore whether there is a common cognitive processing basis for self-control in cognitive control and intertemporal decision making.Study 2 combines the Simon mission with the ultimatum game task to explore whether self-control in cognitive control and social decision-making is independent of each other.Study 3 combines the Flanker task with the ultimatum game task to further explore the general issues in the field of cognitive control and decision self-control.This study draws the following conclusions:Experiment 1:There is no interaction between Simon task and intertemporal decision task, which indicates that there is no common processing process between Simon task-induced cognitive control and self-control in intertemporal decision making, that is,they may belong to different cognitive control systems.Experiment 2:There is no interaction between the Simon task and the ultimatum game task, which indicates that there is no common processing process between the cognitive control induced by Simon task and the self-control in social decision-making,that is,they may belong to different cognitive control systems.Experiment 3:The Flanker task has no interaction with the ultimatum game task, indicating that there is no common processing process between the Flanker task-induced cognitive control and the social decision-making self-control,that is,they may belong to different cognitive control systems. In summary, this study combines different cognitive tasks with different decision-making tasks to explore whether cognitive control and decision-making self-control have a common processing process. The results of the three experiments show that cognitive control and decision-making self-control are independent of each other. They may belong to different cognitive control systems, that is,cognitive control and decision-making self-control are special in the field, that is,there are many human brains.A separate control system controls the processing in different tasks in different situations. This result has deepened people's understanding of the extremely processing process of the human brain's advanced cognitive system structure, and also provided an empirical basis for revealing the human brain control processing mechanism.
