But because some reasons, Xiang Peiliang doesn’t received due attention in theacademic circles. This paper based on the creative of Xiang Peiliang’s life comprehensively, and to explorehis ideas of art and literature creation Xiang Peiliang, summed up Xiang Peiliang’s creation and thoughtaesthetic but not decadent characteristic.Introduction: introduce the status of Xiang Peiliang research, bright the purpose of this article, startingfrom the overall perspective, understanding of Xiang Peiliang, summarized in the creation and the artthought and not decadent aesthetic characteristic.The first chapter is as the main line in the relation to Xiang Peiliang with Lu Xun and Gao Changhong,to introduce Xiang Peiliang’s life and artistic view, summarized the concept of art culture in differentperiods to benign features. From the radical, human art, traditional regression several stages, to analysis thedevelopment and change of the concept of art, and summarized the art has the moral, moderate, serious, tothe quality characteristics.The second chapter discusses Xiang Peiliang theatre creation characteristics of self-discipline andself-expression, to Amnon, bai she he xu xian, he ni tu da zhang and other important production as theexample, discusses the theatre between aestheticism and morality by splitting into harmony and ultimatelyprocess to the traditional regression.The third chapter discusses Xiang Peiliang subjective emotional themes and artistic characteristics,summarized the themes of novel love, marriage and vitality, analysis the detailed of its novel aesthetic,implicit narrative and moral theme.
