Junior high school students in the life and growth process of a special transition from immature to mature stage and the development stage, faced with the rapid development of physical and mental development is lagging behind the contradiction, but also the most prone to psychological problems and troubled times. In recent years, as people focus on mental health, mental health among adolescents has become a hot research, many studies have confirmed the mental health of middle school students declined. Psychological problems from high school students on the one hand showing a bipolar mood instability, etc., and their ability to regulate emotions is not strong. Emotion regulation is an important mechanism for individuals to adapt to society and to maintain mental health, emotional regulation to promote good mental health, poor emotional regulation would undermine mental health. There have been many studies on Middle School Students showed that positive emotion regulation regulate emotions, expressing emotions and behavior will create a good sopial and interpersonal relationships, will reduce conflict and hostility, there will be more positive emotional and mental health; On the other hand today’s Middle School Students are facing an enormous studying pressure and studying burden. Studies have shown that students facing the same objective studying burden will have a different studying subjective attitudes. With the emergence of studying burden attitude, researchers tend to improve student from psychological burden of treating studying attitude.Objects This study aimed to explore the emotional ability to regulate relationship mental health and studying burden attitude and learn "social emotional learning" theory and practical experience, combined with the actual situation of the school site to carry out experimental studies. In order to change the situation in the light heavy-known educational imbalances do some exploring to improve students’ ability to regulate emotions, mental health in order to help students have a positive the attitude studying burden, and can be happy to learn.Methods The study is divided into two parts, and Junior high school students are for the study. Research on adolescent emotion regulation ability using a questionnaire, students’ psychological health scale, burden of Students Attitude Scale for two students conducted a questionnaire survey to test the hypothesis. Study2, through mental activity classes for Eighth Graders emotional cognitive training to improve their ability to regulate emotions, mental health and studying burden attitude.Results (1) Among eight graders the ability to regulate emotions, mental health and the attitude of studying burden is in middle level.(2) There has a significant correlation among the ability to regulate emotions, mental health and the attitude of studying burden. The ability to regulate emotions play a partial intermediary role in the studying burden attitude and mental health. Attitude towards studying burden predicts mental health by the ability of regulating emotions.(3) Drawing the theory and practice experiences of social emotional learning, mental activity classes can improve students’ ability to control emotions, improve students’mental health, so that students’ can have a more positive attitude toward studying burden and gradually enjoy learning.
