The Language Art Of Yan Zhen’s Novels

Yan Zhen’s works write about the social reality and have attracted enormous publicity and research, his minute and splendid brushwork is the key to the success of his works. The paper,after analyzing the present situation of research into the art of Yan Zhen’s language, points out some imperfections in the research. Based on careful reading his works,especially the words he uses,I plan to show the art of Yan Zhen’s language from three aspects of rhetoric form, writing style and technique of expression through a large number of examples. Figures of speech,such as Metaphor, reiteration, several near-synonyms and periphrasis, are rich and clever in Yan Zhen’s works. Yan Zhen’s unique creative personality indicates that his creative styles is with delicate nature, gloomy solemnity, and blending truth in emotion. The psychological experiences of the characters in his novels, such as depression, helplessness, struggle and sadness, are described detailedly and precisely through using distinctive language, vivid description of details and the fit of language and actions. It can be said that Yan Zhen has his own unique insights and achievements in the creation of language.
