Visualization Design In Military Work-Thirty-Six Strategies

Abstract:The21st century is called the picture-reading era, as the visualization and picturization in information transmission has become an irreversible developing trend and already infiltrated into the fields of traditional cultural transmission and children education. Under the background of globalization and cultural diversification, to realize the modern value of traditional culture is the inheritance and development to Chinese culture and also a significant theoretical issue that must be thought deeply and solved so as to enable Chinese nation walk to the future as well as to realize national rejuvenation. Therefore, the discussion on diversification of Chinese traditional cultural inheritance way forms an important part in the research on Chinese traditional culture.This paper integrated cultural transmission, cultural visualization, children cognitive psychology and additional relevant theories and dynamic designing practices, and made research, analysis and design on military work Thirty-Six Strategies. There are four parts in the paper, including Introduction, Cultural exploration on the work, Design orientation and Visual designing&analysis on Thirty-Six Strategies. The final fourth part is set as the focus of the paper.Through analysis and research on traditional culture’s protection and inheritance way, on basis of children cognitive psychology, this paper applied relevant theories and methods of knowledge visualization to make dynamic visual representation and design to the historical origin, strategic classification, folktale and their revealed national spirit of culture in Thirty-Six Strategies; then probed into the significance and necessity of new transmission way to transmit traditional culture; discussed on how to utilize modern media techniques and new approaches to transmit traditional culture with the visual language that conform to the current context; eventually can conduct powerful transmission of traditional culture in the field of children education; meanwhile provided some reference to the inheritance and transmission of Chinese traditional culture. The dynamic visual design of Thirty-Six Strategies tried to design the military work Thirty-Six Strategies from three aspects including dynamic, interactive and extension design of folktale, which aimed at conduct trial on the new methods and form in the transmission and inheritance of traditional culture.
