Research On The Orignal Rock-painting Art Style In Helan Mountain Area

The nomadic people in north China has lived in the Helan and north mountainarea of Ningxia, Yingchuan for a long time. They labored to create and reproduce, andcreated the external immortal rock art. Although the primitive cliff painting in the areaof Helan mountain has experienced the historical weather and erosion of time, up tonow, it still flashing exuberant vitality, telling a simple primitive cliff paintings feelingto us.The primitive cliff paintings in Helan mountain area is the oldest protolanguage.Cliff paintings is quite simple and even very rough in performance form fromaesthetic perspective, which is a bit childish and clumsy. However, since it penetratesthe strong life experience of the ancestors in intuitive image, and the inherent meaningis very rich which makes it difficult to read and is full of curiosity. Today we can seeancestors’ basic living conditions through these original languages. We can also boldlyspeculate their thoughts and psychology. Cliff paintings are worldwide which are the“original language” of all mankind. Because of this, the study of cliff paintings hasbecome an international subject and continuously been developed in the internationalexchange. Through the study of primitive rock art in Helan mountain area of Ningxia,our understanding and thinking of art even the entire human art history can be aroused.Meanwhile, the ancient clif paintings will become a new impetus to the art field inChina.The paper is divided into four parts which analyzed the style of primitive cliffpaintings in Helan mountain area. The first chapter makes a summary of background,research status and research idea, and it also analyzes the geographical distributionand subject matter. Based on the analysis of the original paintings art technique,chapter two studies its painting composition, environment, technology, and therelationship between aesthetic characteristics and the ancient characters. The thirdchapter understands the realism style, decoration style and mysterious symbolic oforiginal paintings in Helan mountain based on the analysis of the style characteristicsof the original paintings. The fourth chapter analyzes the status of the touristsouvenirs in Helan Mountain, roughly studying the situation of scenic spots resources. At the same time, it also systematically studies the tourism souvenirs, and summarizesthe existing problem of cliff painting souvenirs. The fifth chapter systematicallyelaborates the way of developing and creating tourism souvenirs in Helan mountain,following the design state, initial stage of design, the improvement of the designphrase and design completed stage and making the development of cliff paintingstourism souvenirs in Helan mountain completed smoothly.To modern people, primitive rock art is a kind of untouchable art, and its plain,simple and tenacious vitality is unable to be duplicated by contemporary artists. Themodern artists can draw inspiration from the rock art and combine modern thoughtswith advanced technology to create art works which are more accord withcontemporary aesthetic.
