Classroom feedback refers to the assessments and responses that teachers give tothe students who use the inter-language. Modern language classroom undergoes achange from teacher-centered approach to student-centered approach. It presentslearning as the focus of classroom. Teacher feedback is an important means of dealingwith students’ behavior. On the one hand feedback enables students to realize thedifferences between the target language and the inter-language. On the other handusing feedback could promote the verbal communication between teachers andstudents. Feedback affects students’ acceptance of language knowledge and hassignificant impact on teaching. This paper focuses on the discourse part of feedback inthe classroom of teaching Chinese as a second language, analyzing the effectivenessof feedback based on the feedback manner and cooperative principle. The paper alsomakes suggestions to the pedagogy of teaching Chinese as a second language. |
