The Research About Heroical Novels Of Tang Dynasty

Hero, as a special social group, no matter in history or reality, exsists objectively. However, it is too hard to explain the exsistence of hero, which has something of “name, naming, famous”. “Hero” firstly appeared at those books that hundreds of various schools write in the warring states period. Up to Han dynasty. Tai Shi Gong Si Maqian firstly wrote for heroes. Since then, recording, reading and copying heroes became a special phenomenen in Chinese cutural history, which called “Hero Literature”. Literature about heroes and awareness and imaginaton of heroes influence each other, which forms our own “Hero Literature”. After the apperance of essay: historical literature, ode and poem, hero was collected into a new type of writing ——Xia-fiction. After that, there were great charges in chinese Xia Literature and culture. This text takes Tang Xia-fiction a example, and firstly look again at conditions before Tang dynasty, then discuss shape of Xia and construction of Xia-literature that Tang dynasty people shape and construct in Xia-fiction, as well as have a survey on influence which Xia-fiction have on “Xia Literature”.The thesis is divided into five parts. The first part: summing up the essential condition of Tang’s heroical novels; listing out the heroical novels which the author talked about; showing the reasons of the prosperity of Tang’s heroical novels in literary point of view; analysing the shortcomings in today’s research achievements; summing up the chinese history of heroical culture in short, pointing out the fuyyiness of “hero”through the different explanation of the historical books, and the changing of “hero” in literary books from different dynasty, and explaining the types of “hero” in Tang stories in detail fianlly. The second part: The research of Tang’s heroical novels in different times. Summing up the herocial novels’ beginning, development, prosperity and the sonset as a whole in Tang dynasty, point out the development of herocial novels, the different characteristic in different dynasty, and explaining the types of “hero” in Tang stories in detail finally. The third part: using the specific works as examples. Analysing the theme and the artistic characteristic which is reflected by Tang’s heroical novels. The forth part: analysing the heroical novels and the literary works in the same times, especially the interactional relation in Tang’s legendary novel and the herical poem. The fifth part: explaining the influence for unborn heroical literature which ist produced by Tang’s heroical novels.
