Nowadays interpretation plays an important role in the intercultural communication while interpreters are like bridges, helping people get to know each other better. In 2014, the author was invited to be an interpreter for the seminars held by NENU. With the interpreting of the author, the speaker and the participants overcome the languages barriers and exchange their educational viewpoints.This report is based on the interpreting theories and practical interpreting skills that the author has acquired during the MTI courses. All the examples coming from the seminar are analyzed in different aspects. The author also gives suggestions to the interpreter from different points of view.This report consists of four chapters. Chapter one mainly describes the task background and basic requirements. Chapter two is an overview of the interpretation process. Chapter three is the most important part of this report, which analyzes the problems in the interpretation process and giving coping strategies. Chapter four contains the requirements for a qualified interpreter.
