The Fieldwork Analysis Of Tujia Folk Art In West Of Hubei Province

Tujia Nationality in west of hubei province is mainly distributed in qingjiang region. It is because that tujia nationality is in the heartland of East and North, tujia nationality can widely absorbing all kinds of foreign culture, thus it form a tolerance of cultural structure. This article studies the tujia nationality folk art in west of hubei province as the research subject, and Taking the Qingjiang River Basin as the regional scope of the investigation, then conduct a comprehensive survey of traditional folk art in this region, according to the traditional folk art classification method to expand the comparison research. Through field survey of the folk art, then combined with the analysis of historical data, documents, local Chronicles records, this article aims to analysis the origin and development of tujia folk art, and main categories of folk art. It also study the situation of tujia folk art inheritance in west of hubei province, and it also explore the culture of characteristics and unique distinctive aesthetic characteristics of tujia folk art in west of hubei province.In west of hubei province, this area has primitive relic, so it gave birth to many types of tujia traditional folk art with unique artistic style. Based on a lot of field investigation data, this paper divide tujia folk art into the folk art in the funeral rites, folk art in folk activities, and folk art of architectural furniture. This paper also analyze the unique case, in order to sort out the tujia folk art of the stylized aesthetic features and heritage relationship. From the cultural angle of tujia nationality in west of hubei province, we can see that the tujia nationality chase "the soul of all things", "belief in ghosts and gods", "totem worship" and "the psychological characteristics of red and black". At the same time, this paper explore the effective protection and inheritance measures, the purpose is to let the outstanding Tujia folk art treasures in west of hubei province be known to the whole world.
