The July School derived its name for The July edited by Hu Feng. It was a very im portant literary genre mainly moving in KMT controlled area in the 1940s.Translations of foreign works occupied an important part of articles published in the July. Translated literature is a kind of form of literary creation, we can spy into creative environment, cultural position, literary choice and the significance of literary history of the July School in that time through the angle of translated literature works published in the July.In the introduction, the background and the research status of the July were presented, at the same time, the means and the meaning about this paper were put forward. The main body of the paper is consisted of three chapters. In the chapter one, the translated literature of the July School was generally teased and counted in many aspects, such as nationality, style, translator, and feature of works. In the chapter two,, the translated works in the July were divided into Japanese anti-war literary works, Russian works, European and American works according to the national classification, moreover, it was respectively discussed for them how to meet the needs of revolutionary war and convey the fighting belief in the special context of the times, they all reflected great internationalism and humanist spirit. The chapter three was based on translated literary theory from The Soviet Union and Eastern European, West European and America, Japan in the July, it was found that the literary position that "literariness is first, politics is second" had been maintained firmly, meanwhile, a series of aesthetic subjects such as measure, form, principle of literary creation were widely explored, especially realism theory, presenting a kind of aspire that literature refused to compromise.
