Obsessive-compulsive(OC) tendency is a cognitive bias and OCD-related (the obsessive-compulsive disorder)perfectionism. Individuals with OC tendency areconsistent in cognition,feeling,consciousness and behavior with a normal inner conflict and emotional pain lasting for 2-6 months. OC tendency is not mental disordersor physicaldiseases, but psychological normal. The symptoms and severity of the individuals belong to general or serious psychological problems. As subclinical samples, OC tendency providesvaluable explanations for OCD, and also can avoid the effect of medications and complications. As to these points, this study aims to research the OC tendency sufferers.This study takes qualitative research as the basic methods, the contextualized life story narrationas basic research perspective.It aims to achieve the psychological intervention to the two OC tendency individuals by combing their contextualized life story and reshaping their self-construction.By taking psychological in-depth interviews,the author tries to collect,extract and present their growth history respectively, especially family relationships, parent-child interaction patterns, major events (traumatic experience) and concrete representation of intrusive thoughts and behaviors in their early childhood in order to have clearer description and understanding to the intervention on the two OC tendency visitors. Above all, visitors can narrate the story of their lives according to the contextualization direction in the development of OC tendency which provides reference for the researcher in studying intervention method on OC tendency, also presents another possibility of narrative thinking as well as contributes to researcher’s sophistication,personal growth and improvement in their psychological consultation.Through a number of in-depth interviews and faithful presentation of their life stories,it shows that the two visitors have similar childhood experiences. They both grew up in original families with confusing systems and resource shortage, which are the basis of their compulsive tendency. They went through significance events in the growth which made the vulnerable visitors suffer in different degree, and as a result,they tended to have intrusive thoughts and repetitive behaviors gradually. However, due to the lack of self awareness and psychological adjustment they failed to accept professional psychological intervention and self-adjustment, which adds to the compulsive tendency. During the college years, their compulsive tendencies act out centrally and lead to conflicts and troubles in study, daily life and family relationship. Recurring and meaningless compulsive tendencies bother the two visitors and hinder their daily life and developing of social function.Final results of this study are as follows-the formation and evolution of OC tendency has a close relation with early life experience, original family system as well as major trauma of the individual. Meanwhile, it can change the visitors cognitive biases and emotional tendencies to some extent, by the approach of analyzing and interpreting the visitors’ consulting details, reconsidering their contextualized life story, reconstructing the significant events and reshaping the important relationship. These approaches can gain a good outcome of counseling and intervention, furthermore, can help the individuals to develop self-awareness and improve the function of psychological adjustment.
