The obsessive-compulsive disorder(OCD) is a common chronic mental disease, obsessive thoughts and compulsive behavior as the main characteristics, it has a lifetime prevalence of 2%-3%. In recent years, the research have do a lot of research for the pathogenesis of OCD and so all, most of the research focuses on the cognitive defects of OCD patients, such as memory、decision making、perception and so all. But the direct studies of the information processing way and the flexibility of information processing about the OCD are very few. Most studies are indirectly reflect the tendency of OCD information processing and the flexibility of information processing about the OCD, therefore it is necessary to increase the exploration in this area. Thus, explore the force from the overall tendency information processing characteristics of the individual. In order to eliminate the effects of other comorbid factors, such as depression anxiety, our study with compulsive tendencies that sub- clinical samples as the research object. we use Padua Inventory to screen high obsessive-compulsive tendency (HOC) and low obsessive- compulsive tendency(LOC) individuals as the research objects from the university students. Our research by setting the Flanker task, combining ERP research at the same time, to research the differences in the way of the information processing and the flexibility of information processing and its corresponding neural mechanisms in the Flanker task about the different obsessive- compulsive (OC) tendency individuals. In our study, we used the reaction time(RT), parallel processing index (parallel processing index defined as incompatible trials RT minus compatible trials RT) and ERPs as the dependent variable. This research includes two studies. In study one we use the’overall probability adjust’Flanker task(Set up between the block probability of 20%,50%,80%) to research the information processing way about the obsessive- compulsive tendency; In study two we use the’single probability adjust’Flanker task(Set up between the trial probability of 20%,50%,80%) combining ERP research to research the flexibility of information processing and its corresponding neural mechanisms about the obsessive-compulsive tendency。Study one:The research for 24 HOC (13) and LOC (11) objects, by the overall probability adjust Flanker task.We found that compared with the LOC, the HOC participants processing speed is more slow, showed more hesitant in Flanker task; the HOC participants may incline to use centralized information processing way which seems to be relatively slow and single, and Its flexibility of information processing are also certain deficiencies.Study two:By improving the experiment method about study one and combining with the ERP study. We use the single probability adjust Flanker task for 21 HOC(11) and LOC(10) objects, found that compared with the LOC, information processing flexibility shortcomings of HOC. The results not only supported by behavior data, but also have the backing of eeg data results; HOC participants not easily affected by clue hint, lack of strategic control ability of information processing way. This result also obtained the behavior and eeg data of mutual support. Based on the research of the obsessive-compulsive tendency individuals information processing characteristics, it can help to enrich and develop the theory of obsessive-compulsive disorder, and to provide basis for clinical treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder.
