Perfectism was firstly studied by the Psychoanalytic School. Horney regarded the over-orderly and fastidiously behavior as perfectism. However, Adler, the father of Individual Psychology, believed that the radical purpose of human beings was adapting to the surroundings he lived in as much as possible, then changing himself and improving his inner motivation to be perfect. This study uses the definition of perfectism made by Frost--a declination with over-harsh evaluation for completing an over-top standard. This study, according to the Aggression Theory, defines the aggression as a behavior with hostile emotion made by frustration, which hurts others purposely and makes them painful. Based on the Frustration-Aggression Theory revised by Berkowitz, frustration could induce the inner drive which could lead to aggression, and this state would produce the aggressive behavior. A research made by Sun Wenying showed that there was an positive relation between the level of perfectism, negative emotion and depression among college students. One purpose of this study is providing the sample data for individual psychological health education through analyzing the situation of the perfect personality trait both in high and low level among college students. Another purpose is experiencing the aggression for both high and low level of perfectism among college students and discussing their relationship and inner influence. This study firstly uses questionnaire to examine the perfectism trait among 337 college students, then screens the subjects in both high and low level according to the final score in the questionnaire, and analyses their outer and inner aggression through some tasks with different degree of difficulty. The result shows that there exists an apparently gender difference among the perfectism level, the proportion of college students with both high and low level are more than 50%, the stronger outer aggression high-level one has in middle-degree task is evidently different from which in difficult and easy task(p<0.05).What the research shows are as follows:1.There exists a obviously difference in perfectism trait between male and female college students, the perfectism of males is stronger than females.2.College students with high-level perfectism show a strongest outer aggression in middle-level task, it is relatively weaker in difficult task and is weakest in easy one. In middle-level task, college students who are in high-level perfectism show a strong outer aggression. In difficult and middle tasks, students who are in high-level perfectism show a stronger outer aggression than one in low-level perfectism. In easy task, there is not a obviously difference between high and low level perfectism. With the decreasing of difficulty degree, the outer aggression of college students with low-level perfectism becomes weaker, and it is strongest in difficult task.3.There is no obviously difference of inner aggression between different level of perfectism among college students in different task level. Different task level could not motivate inner aggression after motivated outer aggression among college students with different level of perfectism.
