The establishment of the system about International students in China’s preparatory education is a great symbol to The internationalization of higher education in China, and also the development trends of Education to International students in China. It’s different from the normal International students’ education of colleges as an important part of higher education in China, but a transitional education to university. The preparatory education is a relatively new field to Teaching Chinese as a foreign language Education. Shanghai Pre-college for International Students, as the first local government scholarship of Pre-college, settled in Shanghai Normal University, and promotes the Pre-college’s development.To overcome the language barrier and reach certain Chinese requirements are the primary task of preparatory students. Among the Chinese learning, listening is of great significance. It not only determines the listening grade, but also has direct impact on “Speaking, Writing, Reading” the three skills. It’s necessary to find a way to improve preparatory students’ listening for learning or communicating.The object of study is Shanghai Normal University’s preparatory students of class 2013. First, to investigate the use of strategy in listening learning by questionnaire. Then, let preparatory students do a listening test in class, and to examine the result of listening learning by combining the test grade, the listening grade of HSK, and final test of listening. After that, the paper will combine the specific situation of listening strategy and listening result, and seek whether there is a link between those two factors by some related scientific system. Finally, according to the interview of preparatory class’ student and listening teacher representatives, it will gets the enlightenment of preparatory students’ listening learning and preparatory listening teaching by the study of this paper.
