In 2012, British writer Hilary Mantel won British Booker Prize, which one of the most important awards in English literature, by her new novel Bring up the bodies. This is her second time to receive the award, three years ago Hilary Mantel won the Booker Prize by the historical novel Wolf Hall. Bring up the Bodies is Wolf Hall’s sequel, is also a historical novel, it take chancellor Thomas Cromwell as the hero tells about a complex and bloody palace struggle story in the period of the Henry VIII in Tudor:Cromwell planned skillfully, toppled Boleyns and sent the Queen Anne Boleyn to the scaffold.As a novel in the 21 st century, Bring up the Bodies is Wolf Hall’s inherited the narrative method of the English traditional historical novel Ivanhoe, and has the certain breakthrough, so this article combined with the classical narrative theory, from narrative time, focus, narrative situation three aspects to discuss the avant-garde narrative features of Bring up the Bodies.This thesis is divided into four parts. In the first part “Time Perversion”, this article mainly from the flashbacks, flashbacks and Syria three aspects to discuss the relationship between the story time and the narrative time in the story. Filled with a large number of characters in the novel’s memory, con structures, story background, the characters of the memories of past events. In the second part "Duration and Frequency",the author the narrative of relaxation by adjusting the narrative speed, And "Frequency" of using better describes the modal characters, shaping the characters.
