| Narrative focalization is a concerned topic in narrative. This paper try to absorb reasonable researches of novel narrative and film narrative from predecessors, organize and integrate them, give a new explanation of the definition and categories of focalization and point out the function, effect and deep meaning of focalization. The paper also does in-depth analysis of similarities and differences of novel narrative focalization and film narrative focalization on the basis of the above researches. Meanwhile, the Learning from each other between novel narrative focalization and film narrative focalization, especially learning from film narrative focalization are concerned.Introduction: Briefly introduce the kinds of problems in the researches of narrative focalization, and the aim, thinking of my paper, the problems needed to be settled and the meaning of this paper.Part I: Retrospect history of the researches of narrative focalization, including the development and researches in novel narrative, and more extensive researches and development in film narrative. It is also noted that the numerous and complicated status of the studies about the narrative focalization.Part II: Make a new definition and categories for narrative focalization, on the basis of the previous studies, discuss the function, effects and deep meaning of focalization, note the tiny differences between the novel and the film as two different narrative arts, reveal the reason that caused the similarities and differences.Part III: Demonstrate the learning and exchanges between the film and novel in the narrative focalization, briefly introduce the learning and exchanges about the theories of focalization, mainly introduce the learning and exchanges about the methods, it is also noted a new novel faction leader Robbe-Grillet as an detailed example and study.Conclusion: Further thinking the importance and far-reaching significance of the narrative study and narrative art itself under the influence of narrative focalization. |
