Research Of Value Of Science Education In Science Fiction Movies

Nowadays, the science fiction movies have evoked a wave of enthusiasm, it’s popular that not only on behalf of humans’ images and exploration of the high technologe in the future, but also arousing the thingking of science. In this research, I did an exhaustive study on scientific knowledge in the science fiction movies by content analysis method, what’s more, I explored the value of science education. Actually, by the method of sampling analysis, doing research in the objects that calling for further research in the value of science education. In the meantime, it provides the constructive opinions in order to promote primary and secondary science education. The main purpose and highlights of this research is to analyze the contents of science fictions, to explore the relationships among the standards of science, to introduce how many scientific technology have been achieved in science fictions, to recognize the scientific exploration and scientific imagination. It is by analysing and studying the contents of the science fiction movies that people come to know the values and technologys implicit in and exploring the influences of students’ scientific literacy.This paper which is based on the concepts of science fiction film and science and education, used documentary method, content analysis, interviewing method and investigation method to study the content of science and technology in science fiction film. This paper includes three studies:first, classification of the content of science in these film. In order to demonstrate the full range of scientific and technological content in science fiction film, these film is divided into seven themes, and then, try to analyze the contents with the combination of content analysis and case studies, from both the perspective of reality and illusion. Second, peculiarity of content in science fiction film. The film is divided into "hard science" and "soft science fiction" depending on the proportion of science and technology component in it to meet the needs of different levels of audiences, reflecting its strong infectivity and predictability.Following conclusions come through these studies:1.There is a large number of content of science and technology in these film,2.the science and technology in these film has just a little been achieved in the real world,3.sci-fi film has so many superiority that it can enlighten the audience thinking of invisible forces.
