Researching On Gewu Of Wang Yangming And Governance Practice In Southern Jixangxi

Wang yangming was regarded as a typical representative of merits and achievements,moral and tuition,whose thought is another important genre of Confucianism except Neo-Confucianism in late-ancient China.The declining and corrupting government,overly materialistic interpretation on neo-confucianism,connection with people of heart learning tendency,contact with Taoism and Buddhism and reflection on social reality and so on factors contributed to the birth of heart learning."Longchang wu dao" was a key turning point which answered problems he had thinking for many years,established the core substance of mind and completed Wang’s "learn with three changes".In Wang’s thought,gewu is an important part which links conscience with self-cultivation,also is the foundation of family organization and governing.he had talked a lot about gewu and knowledge-action unity what many his students had recorded like Xu Ai.but the practice of gewu on Wang himself began after the contact with Lou Liang which was long earlier before he made it clear and rather different from "Investigation of Things".Study of gewu must be set in the framework of heart learning."Four teaching" was Wang’s final thought-the heart is no good ether bad,good or bad is the movement of heart,conscience can notice good or bad,doing good and giving up bad is gewu.conscience is the standard and goal of gewu,which contains four fields:the noumenon,moral law, ability of awareness,conscience of common sense.In short,gewu is revising from idea.Wang Yangming’s achievement is outstanding.his career was smooth before Liujin’s hegemony.In the time of guizhou,he reached the lowest point in life,but the key point of academic.After that,he was in office of many place.In southern jiangxi,,he did many things:affirming reward and punishment,the license law of ten families, militia management,village convenance,shexue,teaching and so on.These measures contributed to remarkable results and were regarded as classic in local administration of ancient China.Wang’s philosophy provided strong foundation for his achievement and gewu is full of value for researching as the tie of theory and practice.
