In recent years, transition system between Intermediate Vocational Education and Higher Vocational Education becomes a trend in vocational education. Building a robust transition system of vocational education programs, encouraging graduates to continue learning while working, improving a direct enrollment system and broadening the learning channel for the graduates to continue further study, all these become important methods of developing vocational education. In 2009, a testing program, named “3-2training mode” was carried out in Guangdong Province. But Intermediate Vocational school and Higher Vocational College built their own professional curriculum which means it failed to transit smoothly and how to construct the professional curriculum becomes a focus in the transition.This thesis consists of five chapters, discussing the problems occurred in the Transition System in Business English Department between Intermediate Vocational Education and Higher Vocational Education and exploring new methods to solve problems. Chapter one is the exordium, which mainly introduces the background of Transition System between Intermediate Vocational Education and Higher Vocational Education, taking the reasons, significance, methods, contents and theories of reach as subject matter, providing clear definitions of the concepts occurred through analyzing the general information of the research of both domestic and international. It is put forward that the aims of Personnel Training of Vocational Education is the prerequisite, taking Professional Convergence as base, considering curriculum and teaching contents as the core, ensuring the assessment system. Chapter Two mainly discusses two issues. One is that it is hard to distinguish different levels of the professional curriculum; the other is that there is an inversion between the different level professional curriculums. Chapter Three mainly explores the general information of the professional course system of Business English in Guangdong Province and analyzes curriculum provision of Business English. Furthermore it pungent the major issues confronted during the transition of professional courses, focusing on the Aims of Personnel Training, the Construction of the Curriculum System, Teaching Methods and the assessment systems etc. Chapter Four put forwards practical suggestions of the professional courses joining, taking defining professional post group and aiming of Personnel Training reasonably, as precondition, taking integrating professional curriculums and reconstruction of the courses system as the cores, uniforming the teaching materials and compilation teaching material as aids. The transition should be comprehensive and dimension, so as to improve the graduate’s sustainable development capacity.
