The tourism industry has got increasingly prominent status in national economy since the policy of open and reform was carried out. A large number of practical talents who are skilled in basic travel business and mastered an excellent spoken English will be needed in tourism market especially immigration tourism market. But the objective fact is that lack of those talents. This directly led to China's tourism industry in the world tourism market' s competition at a disadvantage. Many vocational colleges have set up tourism-related majors, Travel English is one of the more common major. However the graduates of Travel English can not meet the development needs of foreign-related tourism due to detachment between teaching and practice and the lag of employment concepts.Higher vocational education courses are at the core of the field of teaching. Changing concepts and other reforms of higher vocational education should be implemented eventually in the course. This paper tries to analyse the fact of curriculum provision in Chizhou Vocational College, meanwhile to identify some problems for travel English Majors according to some relevant theories. Through analysis of the reasons, we want to identify corresponding Countermeasures and suggestions.This first chapter is quoted on the parts, including the background to the study, the purpose and significance of the study, the main research contents and methods, related concepts defined and the framework of this paper; Chapter II is the theoretical basis and relevant research, mainly part of sorting out theories of curriculum provision and related vocational research on curriculum provision home and abroad. Chapter III describes curriculum provision of Travel English major in Chizhou Vocational College from the following parts: four modules of Travel English major' s curriculum provision, the ratio of theory and practice class; teaching forms, teaching staff and so on. Chapter IV describes main problems at the same time analyses the reasons of problems and Countermeasures. It can be divided into main problems, analysizing the reasons and Countermeasures .The final chapter is of conclusions of the study, suggestions and disadvantages of the study.
