In social life, there is a lot of moral judgment problem. More and more people pay attention to moral problem. What is the reason that why our country has so many problems? With the increasing number of questions, more and more researches focus on the moral judgment and they do more further research. The researchers found that many ethical issues are involved in death at the same time, which may remind the thought of death. But for the relationship between mortality salience and utilitarian moral judgment, the researchers did not do the further research and discussion.By reading lots of literature, we find that there may be a same point between mortality salience and utilitarian moral judgment: that is the cognitive resources. Based on this, this article study the relationship between the mortality salience and utilitarian moral judgment. main results are as follows:(1)The results find that compared with the condition which is no cognitive load, in the cognitive load condition, there is a significant reduction in the frequency of utilitarian moral judgment. It is confirmed that the utilitarian moral judgment need use cognitive resources.(2)The results find that compared with the controlgroup, in the experimentalgroup, there is a significant reduction in the frequency of utilitarian moral judgment. It is confirmed that the mortality salience can reduce the frequency of the utilitarian moral judgment.(3)The results find that the type of reminder’s main effect is significant, the level of cognitive load’s main effect is significant and no significant interaction between two independent variables. There is no significant difference between low and high load. But between low and very high cognitive load and between high and very high load have significant difference. The experimental results prove that mortality salience can reduce the frequency of the utilitarian moral judgment, and the effect of mortality salience on utilitarian moral judgment is equivalent to a very high cognitive load effects o n utilitarian moral judgment.Integrate threeresearchs, we can find that mortality salience do reduce the frequency of utilitarian moral judgment. Finally, this paper summarizes some problems and deficiencies in research, for example, there may be problems in the selection of subjects and the operation of the independent variables. At last, we discuss the depth of research, so that we can provide some ideas and possibilities for subsequent research.
