Texturing method is the most basic elements in Chinese landscape painting, it is not only an art program independent by the efforts of painters, but also a mainly means that the landscape painters expressed their emotions. Therefore, texturing method should be the most direct elements and objects for the exploration of Shi Tao’s landscape painting,,and the book " Friar Bitter-melon on painting-texturing method in Chapter Ninth " by Shi Tao provides the best entry path for us.Shi Tao’s texturing method and style has its independence and academic by the interpretation of "texturing method "in" Friar Bitter-melon on painting-texturing method in Chapter Ninth ".Texturing method is not only connected with the natural environment, but also related with " Yi Hua" which is the essence of art. Natural mountains and rivers has its own artistic feature, such natural mountains and rivers constitute with " Yi Hua", then forming an interrelated and mutual effect of the whole. From the whole to understand texturing method, we can know it is a kind of technology and can’t be separated from the whole universe and painting. The "Yi Hua" which closely connected texturing method and art is essence of texturing method. Shi Tao promotes" Do not insist on one method " in paintings, we can generalize his paintings by a few word,it is "impatient", "rough" and "strange", "wild", "quality". Even though the shape of events may disordered in his paintings but the spirit of the events never disordered. And this kind of idea also be able to an better extension in his flower and bird painting. The richness and ductility of art of ink and wash are both from the inner world of Shi Tao. And the contradiction between his inner world peace, hope and disappointment, proud and lonely, eccentric and naive, seems to have become the source of his artistic creation. The vagaries of the style in his painting and his texturing method may be just a show of the outside world and his inner world.Art comes from life, and it also comes from the heart. Life and nature, temperament and disposition are not only the carrier of art but also art itself. The ink painting which comes from chaos but stems from the inner world is a new realm.
