Huangmei Opera, originated from the tea picking songs in Anqing, Anhui provinc e and Huangmei, Hubei province, also known as Huangmei Opera or Tea-picking Dra ma, together with Peking Opera, Shaoxing Opera, Pingju Opera, and Henan Opera is r egarded as five operas in China. The tune of Huangmei Opera, simple and smooth, is good at being lively and lyric and has the rich expressive force; The performance of H uangmei Opera, plain and delicate, is famous for being real and active; The language of Huangmei Opera, especially easy to understand, is mixed with quite a strong local accent. The use of rhetoric in the language of Huangmei Opera is too numerous to me ntion one by one. No matter in pronunciation, vocabulary, or grammar, there are no la ck of classic language examples. The combination of exquisite language art and local flavor of peasant minor not only meets the plain pursuit for art of farmers in the daily l ife, but also can be put on the hall of the great to make the high and the lowbrow get o rganic unification, which is called to be appealing to all and enjoyable.The main theoretical framework of the paper is based on the Variation of Rhetoric a nd the Introduction to Rhetoric and uses related theory researches of aesthetics and lit erary theory, pragmatics, and psychology for references. The paper has explored the la nguage rhetoric of Huangmei Opera, has analyzed the language aesthetic mechanism of Huangmei Opera and has reflected the language value of Huangmei Opera.
