Logical Process Of Laozi And Zhuangzi Philosophy Evolved As The Theoretical Basis Of Early Taoism

The philosophy of Lao Tzu set the "Tao" as the central thought. Advocating natural,emptiness and quiet. Chuang-tzu advocated "equality of things" and "free and unfettered". They regarded the "Tao" above the so-called supreme worship "gods" of Zhou dynasty, or regard death as life relief in order to achieve freedom. These can be said to be a kind of subversion of Zhou dynasty God worship, ghost worship, worship of saints and the religious etiquette. But they themselves also may not be completely from the religious tradition, and exhibit some unique religious factors. Such as the mysterious and personality tendency of Lao Tzu. Chuang-tzu is more directly, make Lao Tzu’s "Tao" to the extreme, given its transcendence, substaintial and unknowable mysterious characteristics, so that it has the tendency of religion. These religious factors played an important role in the beginning of construction, consolidation, development and improvement of the the whole process of Taoist’s theory basis.Taoist philosophy originated from Lao Tzu, and then divided of Huang Lao school and Chuang-tzu school. The Huang Lao school as the "four books of huang di" and "four articles of guanzi" for representative, and Chuang-tzu school as "Chuang-tzu" for representative. The two factions develop their own continually in the mutual absorption and reference. For the whole philosophy history of China and the history of Taoism, the latter is more far-reaching influence, so this paper put Lao Tzu and Chuang-tzu together.Taoist philosophy have obvious influence to the Yin-Yang school and immortal school. In the period of Warring States to the early Han Dynasty, the two schools of Yin-Yang and immortal realize blending and evolved "fang xian dao", this is the embryonic form of taoism. During the Qin and Han Dynasties, the masterpiece of Huang Lao school is "Lu spring and Autumn", "Huainan Zi" and "Lao Tzu heshanggong zhangju", they show the blend of Huang Lao school and Chuang-tzu school.Features of the former two merged with the development of Taoist philosophy. The latter is characterized by emphasis on practice and health way to explain Lao Tzu, marking the Taoist philosophy began to change. "Laozi Xiang Er Zhu" from many aspects of text to explain Lao Tzu. Many concepts of Lao Tzu and Chuang-tzu as the tool of its philosophy to religion theology.The thought origin of "Taiping Jing" is mainly constitute of Confucianism, Taoism and Mohist. The so-called "peace" is make nature, ground and people become an integral whole. It has established a relatively complete theoretical system of Taoist theology on the basis of Taoist philosophy.
