"Joy" is an important category of Chuang Tzu, an ancient philosopher, which shows the path of unity spiritual realm. Chuang Tzu lived in the Warring States period of frequent wars, who attempted to transcend the shackles of reality to achieve the "joy" of the lofty realm. Chuang Tzu was in pursuit of "joy" through " Taoist ", who advorcated "Inaction joy," " Free and unfettered joy" and "Tin joy", stressing the importance of improving self-discipline in order to achieve unity of the realm and the Taoist. "Inaction joy" means maintaining natural nature and comforming with inaction, which illustrates Chuang Tzu’s "joy," " Free and unfettered joy " in the "no rely", "No burden" reflects Chuang Tzu’s " Taoist " in high degree of free spirit "Tin joy" is in unity with Taoist, and the light combined natural way to illustrate this point Chuang Tzu pursued "joy." And at the same time, Chuang Tzu proposed " accept the reality " and the attitudes of the life and " shinsaibashi ", "oblivion" two cultivation methods in order to beyond the limit and secular lure of materialism to achieve the "joy" level. Chuang Tzu’s "joy" not only create a valuable ideal personality for the history, but the "joy" perfects the Taoist’s theory,also has a profound impact on the Chinese literary and art circles. Chuang Tzu’s "joy" concept not only had a great impact in feudal China but also for the modern, where have many points worth learning and referencing.
