Traditional Wedding elements are colorful and brilliant, whose visual graphics,symbols and ethnic styles features have characteristics of continuity and heritage,widely known as the symbols of the system that is a common culture based on psychology and common identity.Chinese traditional marriage reflects that the ancient people wish best to the couple and and the pursuit of happiness by implication of the auspicious festive elements.Chinese traditional marriage,carrying the unique Chinese culture and historical heritage, is the national spirit and wisdom. Meanwhile this culture supply the modern wedding adornment packaging design with inexhaustible creativity source.With the advent of globalized economy, owing to invading the Western marriage customs and Western marriage concept, Chinese contemporary Marriage becomes diversified. Obviously,Western culture has a strong impact on the momentum of the modern wedding supplies market,and its packages show a significant western style. That modernwedding supplies packages fully return to the traditional style is impossible, but totally westernized way does not conform to people’s psychology and behavior. From the variety of modern retro-style, it is easy to discern people’s complex national minds. The existing traditional culture and the traditional concept combined with modern modern design rationally,will explore wedding adornment package design to meet the marriageable population’s emotional needs.The study on modern Chinese wedding adornment package status quo as starting point, this paper collected and analyzed the current situation and the type, in the wedding market such packaging design,at the same time putting forward problem of our wedding adornment package, in which the main problem is reflected in the modern wedding adornment package lacking of culture and personality characteristics.Designers want to change the status quo, firstly must recognize that the competition on modern wedding adornment package market on surface is all about design, but it is a cultural contest in essence. This paper incollecting a large number of elements on the basis of the information, will be divided into four categories: auspiciousness earth elements, marital harmony elements, subclass elements,fertility hope elements, and men and women happy earth elements according to the implication.We extracted the patterns, colors and design elements to apply to modern wedding adornment package through modern design.
