Women Under The Vision Of The Manchu Dynasty Writing

Guangqin Ye is a Manchu female writer with some achievements in the literary circle of Shanxi Province, who is deeply affected by a variety of cultures such as Chinese Manchu culture, traditional culture and Japanese culture. In a new period, based on the stories of her own family, Guangqin Ye created works about the experiences of the Manchu,revealing the falling apart of an old family under the pressure both cultural and social. However, the Manchu people, some women in particular, described in her works show the noble spirit and their adherence and probe into the Manchu culture. The multiple culture background broaden Guangqin Ye’s outlook on her literature, which equipped her with a unique perspective to write, showing the selection among multiple culture background in her novels. Based on her novels and novellas, such as "picking mulberries”,"go-between to the Number One Scholar" and “Born from the same mother ”, this article interprets the way of delivery of words, the perspective of writing and their cultural implications of the two novels, thus illustrating the underlying connotation of women, family consciousness and choice of cultures.This paper consists of three parts: introduction, body and conclusion and the body is divided into three chapters: chapterⅠ: the interpretation of women in old changing family, chapterⅡ: the attitude of a female writing from an old family, chapterⅢ,cultural nostalgia and reflections on the old family in retrospect. Starting from the female images both parents who are deeply ingrained with traditional Manchu culture and young maids under the cultural shock,chapterⅠ analyzes the living situations of Manchu females who are soaped and swept by two entirely different culture. By doing this,the author tries to identify the different attitudes towards the different cultures and expose the awakening of the consciousness of the women.ChapterⅡ reveals the clear-out writing perspective of Guangqin Ye as a minority female writer form the way she delivery her stories, including the clear standpoint, the objects she chose, the application of strategies,etc. ChapterⅢ interprets firstly the cultural memories contained in her works, and then analyzes the complex of female culture formed by nourishing form the Beijing local culture. Lastly, this chapter illustrates the cultural deliberations and selections as a woman in the tidings of the era. Guangqin Ye put her deliberations on the ethnical morals and views of values into the background of the old families of Manchu family and calmly observed the culture, history, society and reality, displaying the social responsibility and nationality care a writer should bear.Based on old Manchu families, from the perspective of the females, this thesis learns from the narratology, figurativeness and feminism. The methods of this thesis include individual research, effects research and comparative research. And the article explores the author’s distinctive expression of the Manchu cultural life, analyses the uniqueness of the marginal writing. By profoundly depicting the daily activities, internal worlds, and the fates of the females of the old families, the author shows the care and sympathy to the Manchu people and the reflections on the ethnic culture after the experiences of the ethnic world.
