The "slow design" is a design concept proposed by the Western society and aimed for the behavior of the consumerism. Consumerism motivated by selling the products, and the community will be coerced to enter a consumer-oriented value system and lifestyle. It not only changes people’s values, but also results in the double destruction of humanities and the natural environment. In China, the "slow" philosophy has been prevailed for a long time, but the "slow design" theory is still in its early stages. Meanwhile,the specifically and systematically theoretical research is also very limited.Trinity: In this paper, based on the clarification of the "slow design" concept, we combine with the brand operation practice of “Wan Qing” Chinese Five Ways "Slow Life" House, and initiate to explain its origin, development and connotation with the theory of the "slow design". We expect for the adoption of the “slow design” theory and the exploration of the brand of “Wan Qing” Chinese Five Ways ” Slow Life” House, in order to prompt the sustainable development of the ecological design based on the concept of the "slow life" and "slow design".
