Silent Animation Creation Of Practice Research

Animation development is inseparable from the support of information technology. With the development of science and technology, animation industry has entered an era of rapid development, which makes the animation having different styles. The development of technology has brought technique for the animation that leads animation into the sound era from the silent era. Meanwhile, the appearance of sound animation has brought forward a series of problems. For instance, promotion of the plot has come to rely on dialogue more than just body language; exhibiting characters is not in gestures and so on. The most essential difference between silent animation and sound animation is capturing the nature of animation,explicating the story with a more humorous exaggerated body language, not restricted by cultural, language, education background and other constrains.Nowadays, sound animation has taken up a greater part of the market than silent animation which occupies less and less share. Based on the short three-dimensional silent animated film "Bai Caoji" this article analyses the characteristics of silent animation,compares the different creation ways between silent animation and sound animation, and complements and completes theoretical system of short silent animation. It provides reference for silent animation production by realizing the different emphases between silent animation and sound animation during the production process, so that arouses attention on the nature of animation and consideration on innovation of animation production. This study contributes the silent animation to hold a place in China’s animation industry, so as to provide a theoretical guidance for the audience to learn and love. At the same time, the study offers a theoretical support for animation practitioner and infuses new blood into China’s animation industry.
