This paper, taking the students from Xilingol Vocational College as the study subjects, investigated and studied the English learning beliefs of different genders and grades Mongolian Vocational students.Firstly, through the study of language learning beliefs on home and abroad, the favorable and adverse English learning beliefs of Mongolian vocational students and the influencing factors of learning beliefs form and transform are provided.Secondly, in order to further study the relationship between English learning beliefs and English learning effect of Mongolian Vocational Students, the English learning beliefs of Mongolian Vocational students are investigated and studied by taking the Xilingol Vocational College as an example. Its content involves two aspects of different genders and grades, a total of five dimensions. Specifically, based on BALLI(Horwits inventory table about language learning beliefs) and Wen Qiufang’s English learning questionnaire, according to the Likert scale’s five grade quantity table, the English learning beliefs of Mongolian Vocational Students are divided into five dimensions questionnaire. The questionnaire consists of 49 questionnaire items. Its contents mainly reflects the tendentious relationship between five dimensions of English learning beliefs and the different genders, different grades of Mongolian vocational students. In the implementation process, 240 questionnaires are distributed, 228 valid questionnaires are recovered, concluding 43 male and 185 female.Finally, through the data statistical analysis based on the SPSS19.0software, the correlation between tendency learning beliefs and learning achievement of Mongolian Vocational students is discussed. And the learning beliefs differences between Mongolian vocational male and female students or high and low grade students are shown.Based on the investigated results, the five teaching conclusions are given. They are respectively shown as the following: 1) In the teachingpractice, the teacher should pay attention to the students’ actual situation of learning English, and establish the teaching belief to take the students as the main body. 2) Correct learning beliefs can guide correct learning motivation. 3) The positive learning belief’s establishment can develop the correct learning attitude. 4) The positive learning beliefs can help to form an effective learning strategy. 5) The positive learning beliefs can promote autonomous learning.The study results not only have the important enlightening significance for English teachers to effectively carry out English teaching in Mongolian vocational college, but also provide the suggestions for vocational English teachers. The suggestions can guide English teachers to help change the students’ negative learning beliefs and establish positive learning beliefs.
