Statistical Research On Mongolian Documents Of "Jangel" In Kalmykia Republic

The Republic of Kalmykiya is one of the important areas in which Jangar has widely spread.Also,it is in Kalmykia where people recorded Jangar on papaer for the first time.At the end of the 18th century,ascholar of Mongolian Studies from German called Pallas recorded the Jangar at that time when he was conducting field investigations in Kalmykia.As a result of that,he first revealedangarto the world.In the early 19th century,Bergman,a Latvian travelle r,discove red a book named Janga r,which was then translated into German and published by him.This book is the earliest vision of Jangar recorded on paper.Henceforth,many scholars from all over the world have formed a strong interest in Jangar.The study of Jangar includes collection and translation of different Jangar visions,it also includes the research of oral vision and published vision of Jangar.At last,these studies work together to make Jangar an international research topic.As one of the sacred places of Jangar,Kalmykia not only provided scholars with a la rge number of different visions of Janga r,but also actively holds va ried kinds of academic activities related to Jangar.For many years,scholars originated from Kalmykia as well as other countries have studied Janger and its heritage singers from the perspective of linguistics,literature,aesthetics,cultural anth ropology,history and other subjects,and have published lots of papers and works.The results from the research above can show the history,general situation and trend of the study to Karmickia's Jangar,at the same time,itcan provide experience and suggestionsto the present studies.Unfortunately,from the current research,the studies of Jangar and their references have not yet formed a systematic analyses and comment.So,based on the situations mentioned above,this paper will include four parts supported by information about Kalmykis's Jangar written in Mongolia collected by the author.The four parts are as follows.Introduction:To explain the reason,purpose,general situation,research method and significance of this study.Chapter One:To summarize the contents of Jangar from related literary works,original Jangar text and related academic papers.All the articles of these three aspects are published on a Kalmykia's journal called The Light of the Grassland.At the last part of chapter one,personal opinions on existing problems rega rding the study will be provided by the author.Chapter two:This paper will divide the theses from Collection of Academic Paper into two parts:comprehensive thematic papers and single thematic papers.And all of the thesis are about Jangar study,written in Mongolian.Comprehensive thematic papers include distribution,vision and research overview of Jangar,as well as biographies of the heritage singe rs and schola rs of Janga r.While single thematic papers are consisted of text study,traditional customs study,origination study,linguistic study and other study of Jangar.Chapter three:Theses of Jngar study written in Mongolian and published in Kalmykia were analyzed according to three dimensions:literature books,academic works and single thematic papers about Janger published in Kalmykia.
