The Research Of Urban Theme Fine Brush Painting In Tenth, Eleventh And Twelfth National Art Exhibition

With the development of the Chinese twenty-first century urbanization process, boom towns spring up. The scale of cities, social attitudes and people’s lifestyle have changed a lot.Under the influence of it, the theme of contemporary Chinese realistic and figure painting involves more widely contents. As artists are continuously creating traditional subject matters they also try some urban themes.Urban themes of Chinese realistic and figure painting, reflecting urban life in different guises, have a vividly typical of ages so that come into being a tide of creating new art form about Chinese realistic and figure painting.This article bases on the 10 th, the 11 th and the 12 th national arts exhibition to explore and research the three selected urban themes of Chinese realistic and figure painting arts and also to do a simple reorganization and analysis.Hope that through this topic study to deepen the understanding of the contemporary Chinese realistic and figure painting creativity and to guide my art practice in some extent.
