Dig Into Noise Art

Since science art had become the mainstream of contemporary art, many works of sound art then had gradually emerged. Limited by the physical characteristics of sound, sound art is certainly need to express in a more accurate way in terms of spatiality and plan. Sound art is an art form with variety, which concludes field recording, digital music, sound performance, audio and vision, sound device and audio sculpture etc. It can be either the pure feel of listening or the sense shaking creation experience.In the aspect of original connotative meaning and spirit of sound art, in fact, the revolt intention is contained. However, sound art stretches across the field of experimental music, noise music, installation art, visual performance, dancing and music and so on, which made the related discussion and definition more complicate.This paper starts from ethnomusicology, with the method of ethnomusicology study, taking Xi’an local sound art performance platform "system error"as the object of study to explore the sound idea of "system error" as well as the noumenon and ideology of sound. In addition, combined with the develop path of sound art, this paper will take further step in categorizing the develop history of sound art in China, then explore the difficulties and future of current sound art performance platform.As a kind of media, sound itself is a process that comes from time and space, no matter in its develop history or the effect of striking off other media that sound has. No matter sound is the subject or object, we need to explore the various kinds of possibilities in the undergoing process. Hence, taking the view from human sound history of development to analyze the sound art performance platform "system error" is the center of this paper.
