Master Qisong, who has important status of Yunmen School in the Song Dynasty, dedicates his life to writing and the protection of Buddhism. He has ever written to the emperor of the Song Dynasty, and his works was permitted to be saved. Although as a zen monk, he is proficient in the Confucian classics.
