Network KUSO refers to all the parody works that are generated and communicated online. Both of the creators and audience of the online KUSO are mostly juveniles. Since the juvenile creators of KUSO are not well-developed with their personality, they tend to disregard moral ethics when they focus on seeking pleasure, getting attention from others and venting their emotions, which usually makes the KUSO against the law and morals and deviate from the core values of society.Currently, the network KUSO is delivering a great impact on humanity in respect of literature, film, television, arts and so on. Almost all the traditional faith, beliefs and creeds of the past five thousand years are well laden with doubts and ridicule by online KUSO. On one hand, it prevails the voice of the former elite, one the other hand, it deconstructs and subverts the spirits of Grand Narratives of them. It’s worrisome that the deviant KUSO is attracting a great interest and liking from many juveniles, which usually leads to a sensation. The negative influence of KUSO includes the followings. First, hot topics and current events are frequently mocked; second, excellent culture is usually distorted; third, mainstream values are often subverted; fourth, government organs and officials are always defamed; fifth, the KUSO is too vulgar by itself based upon its prevailing principle of Pleasure First. Generally, network KUSO bears a tendency to post-modernity, which features scoffing at nobility and ridiculing sacredness and imposes unmeasurable adverse influence on the youth. This paper takes an in-depth study about the cause of the emergence and development of network KUSO in terms of social background, juvenile mentality and online environment. It makes a further research into how to restrain the adverse effects of existing KUSO, then attempts to work out constructive countermeasures.
