The thesis, with the cognitive linguistics theory as the theoretical guidance, is adopted the synchronic comparison and diachronic comparison research method. We can find that, there are many similarities and unbalances of "head" vocabulary group after comparing and analyzing the mandarin Chinese, the dialect Chinese and the ancient Chinese. Analyzing the internal cognitive mechanism of "head", the semantic category and its related culture, which can make us understand the deep information lurking in the words, and accurately grasp the meaning to use the words reasonably.
