Tibetan information processing research has made a lot of achievements both in applied research or basic research. However, relatively compare to the rapid development of information technology, the Tibetan information processing technology still lags behind for the actual demand, the key is that knowledge of the language used for the computer is not perfect still. For any of language, the has been a real need to classify words, cutting and other multi-level description of the processing through the computer for a series of fundamental knowledge, and it is a further step towards an inevitable path to cross from lexical research to machinery research. Rhetoric has already contained a system by itself, and occupies a very important position in the traditional Tibetan literature, so this rhetoric research is also a quite important on the Tibetan information processing. This paper has established a Tibetan rhetoric knowledge base from angel of demanding and the view of computer processing on Tibetan.The paper is divided into five chapters. In first chapter, Introduction section focuses on the status of Tibetan rhetoric studies inner the country or abroad, also has a brief statement and writings of the relevant Tibetan rhetoric researchers. Secondly, poin-ted out author’s purpose and significance of the knowledge base of the rhetoric of Tibetan studies and establishing. The second chapter is an overview of Tibetan icluding the definition of the main profile rhetoric, source, naming, effects and featuresin brief. The third chapter is the Tibetan rhetoric semantic classification system, this chapter is the core part of this thesis, mainly to do a more in-depth analysis on Tibetan rhetoric books semantic classification h, by reference and signed to the uses of classification methods and principles in <<odern Chinese Dictionary Detailed syntax information>> by Mr-Zhan WeiDong in2003-07-16.in, the words of Tibetan rhetoric book "wise earrings" classified into nouns, adjectives, verbs, and numbers, also puts several parts of speech in each category for a more detailed semantic classification, and the established a rhetoric semantic classification system. The fourth chapter is in the form structure of Tibetan rhetoric, which is analyze and study the morphological model by the part of the main structure of syllables and the associated structure.. Through them, did a more detailed analysis and summary on the rhetoric with the associated structure.. The fifth chapter is the principles of building knowledge base and tag set in Tibetan rhetoric, and this part focuses on the field of the development of algae rhetoric and tag set of attributes to determine the entry criteria and received word in Tibetan rhetoric source repository, definition and classification basis, the value of the property field and tag set, in order to expand the scale of construction on Tibetan knowledge base, which ultimately services Tibetan rhetoric semantic analysis. The final part is the conclusion:has a brief summary of the research programs and further research on this topic.
