A Study Of The Consilience Between Inamori Kazuo’s Operational Philosophy And Chinese Classical Philosophy

Under the influence of the modern management theory, many enterprises pursue the best interests of shareholders. Because the different national conditions and cultural traditions between China and western countries, it is difficult to adapt to Chinese enterprises through simply copy the western management theory. Although China has created many Chinese management theories, there are few management theories and management modes could reflect Chinese classical philosophy and Chinese national conditions. Under the influence of Chinese culture, Kazuo Inamori became an outstanding entrepreneur. It contains a lot of Chinese classical philosophy in his operational philosophy. And he operates two top500enterprises successfully. His thought in line with Chinese classical philosophy core idea but oppose with self-interest thought. At the same time there are few researches on Kazuo Inamori’s operational philosophy in the overall perspective. Therefore this dissertation applies complex adaptive system to the study of Kazuo Inamori’s operational philosophy. And it analyzes the complexity management from the the evolution of complexity. Kazuo Inamori’s operational philosophy reflects the integrity thinking and the system thinking of traditional Chinese culture. The dissertation studies Kazuo Inamori’s operational philosophy by using the complex adaptive system. I hope it will break the one-sided original research mode on Kazuo Inamori’s management. And it will reveal how Chinese classical philosophy influence on Kazuo Inamori’s operational philosophy. Therefore it could provide inspiration for the building of Chinese model management which is based on the Chinese culture.The dissertation uses literature analysis method to study the consilience between Kazuo Inamori’s operational philosophy and Chinese classical philosophy from two aspects. On the one hand, the dissertation studies the Kazuo Inamori’s operational philosophy on the basis of the complex adaptive system which mainly illustrates the complexity of the objects and the complexity evolution of ideas. On the other hand, it applies the complex adaptive system to the study of Chinese classical philosophy which mainly analyzes from the structure complexity, complexity characteristics and the complexity evolution. Finally, it is concluded that Kazuo Inamori’s operational philosophy can be used to guide the construction of China’s corporate philosophy and the practice of Chinese management. The innovation point of the article has two aspects. In the first place, it breaks the original one-sided research model on Kazuo Inamori’s operational philosophy. And it studies Kazuo Inamori’s operational philosophy in a systematic thought. In the second place, it studies the consilience between Kazuo Inamori’s operational philosophy and Chinese classical philosophy by complex adaptive system.Because the Kazuo Inamori’s operational philosophy mainly expounds the relationship between people and natural-social-economic system. So it studies the complexity of Kazuo Inamori’s operational philosophy from two aspects. Firstly, it studies the natural-social-economic system’s complexity from iIntegrity, openness and self-organizing features. Secondly, it also researches the complexity of the thought evolution from complexity adaptive thought and complexity using thought and complexity control thought.This dissertation studies the complexity of Chinese classical philosophy from the system integrity, openness and self organization. And it mainly research the complexity of the thought of Chinese classical philosophy from the integrity and openness features and the complexity evolution of the traditional Chinese culture thought which contains complexity adaptive thought and complexity using thought and complexity control thought. It proves the consilience between Kazuo Inamori’s operational philosophy and Chinese classical philosophy through the analysis of complex adaptive system.In brief, this dissertation uses literature analysis theory. And it applies complex adaptive system to the analysis of Kazuo Inamori’s operational philosophy and Chinese classical philosophy. Studies have shown that the consilience between Kazuo Inamori’s operational philosophy and Chinese classical philosophy is high. Kazuo Inamori’s operational philosophy can be used to guide the construction of Chinese management philosophy and the practice of Chinese enterprises. At the same time, enterprises should strengthen the construction of enterprise culture which is attractor in the complexity evolution. On the one hand, enterprises should promote the information exchange and set up learning organization. On the other hand, in order to improve the innovation ability, enterprises should properly increase the uncertainty of environment to make the enterprise organization from the equilibrium state.
