A Research Study On LinXia Hui Autonomous Prefecture Muslim Education For Women’s Virtue

The concept of education for women’s virtue is from the Chinese traditional culture of thinking on women’s education. From the Confucian " four virtues "-women’s moral, women’s speak, women’s content and women’s work, we can see women’s virtue does not only emphasize moral aspects, but also includes a wider range of qualities, such as language, appearance, behavior, and so on. Therefore, the education for women’s virtue is not merely the women’s moral education, it should also include women overall literacy education, but the education for women’s virtue is different from the general education, enhance women’s inner accomplishment as the fundament for this education, and other aspects of education as the extension. In this paper, learn the excellent ideology of traditional Chinese cultural education for women’s virtue, and to widen it in the field of Islamic culture, and extended it in the context of the new era. This thesis Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture (hereinafter referred to as Linxia) Muslim education for women’s virtue is based on Linxia Muslim’s religion cultural, excellent ideology of traditional Chinese cultural education for women’s virtue as a guide, combined with the modern historical background and investigation of the status of Linxia Muslim education for women’s virtue, then make the proposals in order to the theoretical system of Linxia Muslim education for women’s virtue be comprehensive and practical educational work be better.Currently, Linxia Muslim women’s education system into three parts as follows: family education, Muslim women education institutions (including public schools and private schools), mosques education system. When focusing on education for women’s virtue, found many problems and shortcomings after the investigation of Linxia Muslim educational system, the root causes of the problems are:Linxia Muslim education is serious lag, Internal discord between Linxia Islam Factions made Muslims insufficient unity, Linxia Muslim’s thought is not enough progress, the challenges of modern threaten Linxia Muslim education. Based on the survey of Linxia Muslim education demonstrates the need for the development of the education for Muslim women’s virtue:to help building Linxia Muslim harmony family, to help improving the Linxia Muslim overall literacy, help improving the Linxia Muslim education system.This paper focuses on improving the theory system and making the practical suggestions in Linxia Muslim education for women’s virtue. Perfect Linxia Muslim theory system of education for women’s virtue, firstly, we must clear educational goals, and secondly to improve education methods, and finally to improve the educational content. As for improving the content, I recommend a combination of Islamic culture and Chinese traditional culture of excellent ideas about women’s education, combined with the requirements of the era of Muslim women and Linxia local excellent tradition. As specific recommendations for improve practical educational work, the paper aim at how to improve education for daughters in family, and how to consummate Linxia Muslim education for women’s virtue, how to improve the social education system for Muslim women’s virtue. This paper have tried to give some suggestions for those above issues, and analyzed the feasibility of the proposals.In this paper, the purpose of that investigated the status of Muslim education for women’s virtue and made the future development prospects is to encourage the Linxia Muslim paying attention to education for women’s virtue and the development of Muslim women, cause only women to enhance the overall quality, to exert effects positively that women should to, then the development of the nation will be more hopeful, and progress of nation will be more powerful.
