A Research On Mongolian Adolescents’ Intellectual Development Of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region

Intelligence is one of the most important abilities for human beings toexist.The development of intelligence is always make the progress of humansociety. The professor of Neuroscience and Education of philosophy fromTexas University, Reynolds said ‘Because of that human beings get more andmore clever generation by generation, they could develop step by step. Thehumans will die out if the intelligence wouldn’t develop’.Recently，the investigators of our country start to pay attention to thestudy on intelligence more and more. But the intelligence study on Mongolianadolescents to be developed. Mongolian nationality is one of56minoritynationalities in our country and the primary one of the northern minorities.The Mongolian population is100billion right now, is the NO.2of minoritynationalities.Mongolian nationality has a long and brilliant history and its specialculture and custom attracts the people all over the world. To inherit anddevelop own nation’s culture and promote its custom is one of the mostimportant responsibilities for Mongolian adolescents. In recent20years, theadolescents who accept national education are less and less. So thedevelopment of Mongolian adolescents’ education must be the top priority.Which parts of intelligence Mongolian adolescents should be developed?Which dimensions of intelligence of Mongolian adolescents are developingfast? Which is slow? Do there have difference between boys and girls? Dothere have difference between the Mongolian adolescents from differenceareas? Do there exsist the development gap between the Mongolian adolescents from city and countryside? I start my study with these questions.To provide the data for this study, there were15teachers and students workedfor two months. They interviewed4cities,5towns and19middle schools andprimary schools, and tested676Mongolian adolescents aged11-18. Theresearch on Mongolian adolescents’ development of intelligence of InnerMongolia yielded the following conclusion:(1)The Mongolian adolescents’intelligence raises with age and the progress curve is not a straight line. Itshows that the Mongolian adolescents’ speed of development of intelligenceis inconsistent. The age factor and the urban-rural dual structure is the maininfluencing factor of Mongolian adolescents’development of intelligence, andthe sex factor and the regional difference is not the important influencingfactor that.(2) The Mongolian nationality adolescents’ differential degree ofintelligence enhance with age and the age factor, regional difference and theurban-rural dual structure is the main factor of that.
